Art doodling

So I was trying out some clouds on a small canvas board and thought it would work nicely with this really nice scene I took a picture of in Pasadena the other day. It's a snippet of the scene as it were, and now I think it needs two more to make it a little triptych to sell at the pasadena art walk!.  I'm not normally into landscapes, but I think I need to try some more and challenge myself a little bit.

I wanted this to be an interpretation more than anything else and to create that glare like a Frida Kahlo portrait. I chose colours that I felt best represented me on the inside. I am pretty happy with the end result. I wasn't too interested in making it a large portrait, but maybe another time, artists can have more than one self portrait right?.
